Ryan Todd received a Bachelor of Music in 1998 and a Master of Music in 2000 from the University of Mississippi. He was the assistant band director at Pontotoc High School in Pontotoc, MS from 2000 - 2003, where his duties include arranging music and designing drill for the marching band, conducting the second concert band, leading the jazz band, and teaching both sixth and seventh grade band. Ryan is currently a Doctoral candidate at Louisiana State University. During his tenure at Pontotoc, the marching band consistently received superior ratings at state contests and took many caption and best-in-class awards. Ryan has also taken the second concert band to state contest and received superior ratings both years. In 1998, Ryan was the high brass instructor for Phantom Legion, the feeder unit for Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. The corps won the high brass award for Division III. Ryan has performed with the Corinth, MS, Meridian, MS and Tupelo, MS symphonies, and performs as a free lance musician year round.
