Philip Gregory serves as Director of Bands at Siegel Middle School in Murfreesboro, TN. His former appointments in his sixteen year teaching career include Director of Bands at Hillwood High School in Nashville, Tennessee, and Grundy County High School where he initiated the program. He has recently completed a one year sabbatical and received a Master of Arts degree with a specialization in conducting from Middle Tennessee State University. During this, his second tenure at MTSU, he served as a graduate assistant in band and was awarded Outstanding Graduate Student in Music.

Philip does percussion and band arranging for area high school marching programs, as well as for Row-Loff productions of Nashville. He is in demand as a band and percussion clinician and adjudicator throughout the Southeast. His professional memberships include TMEA and MTSBOA, where he has served on the executive committee, NBA, PAS, MENC and Phi Beta Mu. Philip currently holds the position of President of the Middle Tennesse School Band and Orchestra Association and Treasurer for the Tennessee Chapter of the International Association of Jazz Educators. He currently resides in Murfreesboro.
